Summer Research Fellowship Programme (SRFP) 2024 (JNCASR) with stipend – Apply now

Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR) is a multidisciplinary research institute situated in Jakkur, a locality north of Bangalore, India is inviting applications for SRPF 2024.

This is a flagship programme of the JNCASR, introduced in 1991. Science and engineering students at the bachelors and masters level are placed at institutes of repute all over the country, for two months training in the areas of their interest in the Life Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Physical Sciences, Mathematics and Engineering. Selection is based on purely merit. About 150 fellowships are offered each year. The admitted students are given a fellowship of Rs. 10,000/- per month. Since its inception in 1991, 2522 students have benefitted from this programme. This is one of the highly acclaimed programmes of the Centre and the students are very appreciative of the benefits, enabling them to get inspired towards scientific research during the early stage of their education. Several SRFP fellows have pursued a career in science and engineering and hold responsible positions in India and abroad.
