RGCB short term training program-Apply online

Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology. An Autonomous Institute of the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India exclusively devoted to research in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology.It is located at Thiruvananthapuram, the capital city of the state of Kerala in India. 

The RGCB invites online applications for training for short and long term duration from students of MSc, BTech, M.Phil and MTech for duration of 1 month-12 months. The training is paid in nature with a fee structure. You can visit the Website to see various areas of training provided.

How to Apply?

  1. Candidates must apply by clicking ‘Apply’ button in order to apply for training request. The email ID used must belong to the trainee. The email address must be valid and functional. All communications shall be sent only to the registered email address.

  3. Applications can be submitted 6 months before your proposed training period.
  4. Students are to remit the fees online within three days of acceptance by the scientist. Guarantee cannot be given to those who fail to pay fees in advance. Fees once paid will not be reimbursed.
  5. Bring the duly filled and signed application form on the joining date. Report to Office of Academic Affairs, RGCB.
  6. Students should not apply to more than one faculty [laboratory] simultaneously.
  7. Those who apply for internship/ project work in a laboratory are to wait for three days for acceptance.
  8. If acceptance is not received within three days they may approach the other laboratory.
