GATE 2024 Live Result: The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2024 results are expected to be made public by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) in Bengaluru today, March 16. The test results for February 3, 4, 10, and 11 will be available on the official website, gate2024.iisc.ac.in. The test this year drew almost 6.8 lakh participants.
For each incorrect answer on a multiple-choice question (MCQ), the exam deducts one-third of the score; for each two-mark MCQ, the deduction is two-thirds. If a NAT or MSQ response is incorrect, no points are deducted. IISc publishes the GATE cut-off for a number of application categories annually.
Based on their GATE results, applicants can apply to master’s programs at IIT and other technical universities. Government jobs in many public sector initiatives require the results of the GATE exam. Co-organized by IISc and seven IITs, the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2024 was held.
