From May to July 2023, the Bose Institute will provide short-term training in the physical, chemical, and biological sciences for exceptional students from various institutes and universities (for a period of 6-12 weeks). The training will be delivered by Institute faculty members who will choose the trainees based on both their own and the trainees’ academic interests. Before completing the form, students are urged to speak with faculty members about the various research programmes that are offered.
Outstanding students in the fields of life sciences, physical sciences, and chemical sciences from various universities and institutes are eligible for an annual short-term training programme at the Bose Institute that lasts for a total of two months from May to July. The training is delivered by Institute faculty members, who choose the trainees based on both their own and the trainees’ academic interests.
You can apply if you’re a student pursuing a master’s degree (MSc, MTech, Integrated Masters, etc.). Outstanding students in their last year of a Bachelor’s degree (winners of INSPIRE, JBNSTS, KVPY, NTSE, etc. awards) may also apply. Minimum eligibility requirements for consideration of requests include first division marks (60% in aggregate or equivalent grade) in Bachelors programmes and at least 75% of aggregate scores (or an equivalent grade) in all major school level examinations (Secondary school examination and Higher secondary examination (10 + 2).
Around thirty-five students may be accepted for short term training.

- Announcement of the list of candidates accepted for the training :- April 7-10, 2023
- Tentative date of commencement of the training :- May 1, 2023
