Walk-in-Interview date: 10-10-2022.
Applications are invited for the following positions in the purely time-bound CSIR-sponsored projects in the area of ‘Seaweed and microalgae derived value-added products.” The number of positions is tentative and may vary at the time of the interview. The details of the posts are as follows:
Post I
Name of Post – Project Associate-I
No. of Posts – 04 (2 posts under HCP0024; 1 post under MLP0049(1) and 1 post under MLP0056)
Age Limit – 35 years as of the last date of receipt of application through email. Age relaxation is applicable as per CSIR rules.
Emoluments –
- 31,000/- per month (consolidated) to scholars who are selected through (a) National Eligibility Tests – CSIR UGC NET including Lectureship or GATE (b) A selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions.
- 25,000/- per month (consolidated) for others who don’t fall under (i) above.
Qualification – M.Sc in Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Agronomy/ Biochemistry/ Botany
Post II
Name of the Post – Project Assistant
No. of Posts – 01 Post under MLP0049(1)
Age limit – 50 years as of the last date of receipt of application through email. Age relaxation is applicable as per CSIR rules.
Qualification – B.Sc in any plant sciences.
Emoluments – 20,000/-per month (consolidated).
How to Apply –
All the candidates attending walk-in-interview/written test should bring one set of duly certified copies of all certificates along with originals and a passport-size photograph of them. The walk-in-interview/written test will be held on 10-10-2022 at 09:30 AM in CSIR-Central Salt & Marine Chemicals Research Institute, Waghawadi Road, Bhavnagar Gujarat.
Final year appearing students are not eligible to attend the interview. Candidates must produce a copy of the provisional or degree certificate on the date of the interview. The posts are purely temporary for the duration of sponsored project only. It would, therefore, not confer any right/claim implicit or explicit for any candidates for claiming extension or absorption in CSIR- CSMCRI, Bhavnagar. No travelling or any other allowances will be paid for attending the interview.
